2 CD Otis Redding, often referred to as the 'King of Soul' and most well known for his song 'Sitting at the Dock of a Bay'. This rare live album from Otis Redding was recorded at the Whiskey a Go-Go on April 9 and 10, 1966. This is the first time the recordings have been released as a complete package and the songs are sequenced exactly as they went down, complete with an emcee and spoken introductions by Redding. Booklet features rare photographs as well as extensive liner notes by Ashley Kahn, author of music biographies and a contributor to NPR's Morning Edition.
