Night Moves (50th Anniversary) [RSD BF 2026]
About This Release
Released in 1976, Bob Seger’s Night Moves was his long-awaited national breakthrough, blending muscular Detroit rock with reflective songwriting on classics such as “Night Moves,” “Mainstreet,” and “Rock And Roll Never Forgets.” Critics enthusiastically embraced the album—Rolling Stone called it one of the year’s best—and its commercial success transformed Seger from a largely regional favorite into a major American rock star. This 50th anniversary edition celebrates this seminal album exclusively for Record Store Day Black Friday with an all-new vinyl cut by Joe Nino-Hernes featuring analog mastering from the original source master tapes pressed at Third Man Records on Solid White vinyl. Also includes a vintage collectible poster.
