Handel's Messiah gets plugged in when David Axelrod amps up the baroque classic with psychedelic guitars and rock orchestrations. This 1971 experiment also included the legendary jazz man Cannonball Adderley as it's conductor! It was and is a groundbreaking success that is now remastered and reissued on CD for the first time.
