180-Gram Virgin Vinyl Limited Edition. This album was recorded three years before Ahmad Jamal's rise to fame following the success of his 1958 Pershing and Spotlight live albums. Issued in 1956, the LP The Ahmad Jamal Trio comprises performances from an extended single 1955 Epic session in New York. Jamal was accompanied by the legendary bassist Israel Crosby, and guitarist Ray Crawford. (His later trios would feature drums instead of guitar.) 180-gram VIRGIN VINYL LIMITED EDITION.
