Overview

This collectible long sleeve t-shirt features the Jimi Hendrix Experience Live at Berkeley Community Theatre May 30 1970 Concert Poster artwork.

With Billy Cox on bass and Mitch Mitchell on drums this concert was the official formation of a new Jimi Hendrix Experience without Noel Redding.

At the show, Hendrix experimented with new songs and played some that were already becoming legendary, including 'Stone Free', 'Hey Joe' & 'Foxey Lady'. He ended with an electrifying version of Voodoo Child (Slight Return). The performance was recorded & filmed, and first released as the concert film 'Jimi Plays Berkeley' in 1971 then later re-released in various formats over the years.
