More Info:The long-awaited fourth album from New York s INTERPOL finds them exploring dark musical landscapes of layered depth and intensity. In contrast to 2007 s Our Love To Admire, this self-titled opus hangs together as an album, a set of very different songs that thematically connect. From the highly melodic Barricade and Lights through the snarling Memory Serves and the extraordinary triptych of connected tracks that close the album, Interpol have never made work this emotionally resonant or packed with crescendos.
Interpol is the self-titled fourth studio album by the American band Interpol to be released on September 7, 2010 on their initial label Matador Records. It was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village. Details about the album were released by the band on a post on their official site, on 5th June 2010. The album will supposedly feature "Lights", the track released for free download through the site, originally on May 2010. It will be the band's last effort with original bassist Carlos Dengler as he left shortly after the album's completion. The lead single will be "Barricade". - Wikipedia
