More Info:
The fifth M. Ward album and his most absorbing yet. It's songs unravel their world-wearied tales of life, love, and human with an innate and special grace, helped in part by the very talented friends who join him on this record, such as Neko Case and Mike Mogis, as well as old "Monsters of Folk" touring buddy Jim James (My Morning Jacket). Look for him on tour this fall.Reviews:
''Post-War'' is the fifth studio album by M. Ward. It was released on August 22, 2006 by Merge Records. It features the single "To Go Home," a cover of a song written by Daniel Johnston. Guest appearances were made by Jim James of My Morning Jacket (who produced the track "Magic Trick"), Neko Case and Mike Mogis. Ward has said that the song "Today's Undertaking" was heavily inspired by Roy Orbison's 1963 single "In Dreams." - Wikipedia
