This album marked a significant shift in the band's sound, as they moved away from the technical, chaotic style of their earlier work towards a more melodic and accessible approach. While retaining elements of metalcore, *The Here and Now* incorporates more clean vocals, anthemic choruses, and a polished production, showcasing a more mainstream rock influence.
