Digitally remastered edition. Silk Purse was the second solo album by Linda Ronstadt. It was released in March 1970; Elliot Mazer, who had previously worked with Richie Havens, Gordon Lightfoot, James Cotton, Rufus Thomas, Chubby Checker and Frank Sinatra, produced the album. Silk Purse features the ballad "Long, Long Time," her first major hit. It earned Ronstadt her first Grammy Award nomination in 1971.
