Reggae rockers Iration will release a new album entitled Daytrippin on October 6. The Hawaiian-bred/California-based band previewed their eighth studio LP by sharing its title track. The new album, Daytrippin is a return to our roots, Iration lead singer Micah Pueschel stated. We set out to strike a balance between polished studio production and the energy of a live show. We leaned on our reggae and rock influences to find a natural evolution from earlier albums like Time Bomb and Hotting Up. The 10-song Daytrippin was co-written and produced by renowned songwriter/producer Suzy Shinn. Additional writing and production was provided by longtime collaborator David Manzoor and the band. Guests appearing on the upcoming album include Maxi Priest and Claire Wright.
