In 1982, Ronny Verrept & Fonny de Wulf (Rofo) produced their first songs in their own 8 track studio. Fonny played all instruments, Ronny produced it and Peter Vriends was responsible for the vocals. After the departure of Peter, Rofo searched for a new vocalist and they found John Sauli. IA few years later, Rofo offered up "I Want You" and in 1986 "Beach Love," which was composed and produced by Rob van Eijk and Michiel van der Kuy. Both tracks did well and in 1987 came the Rofo full-length album with a few new songs including Rofo's Theme, an excellent slice of synth-pop that began to attract a wide audience. All these years later, "Rofo's Theme" is considered a synth-pop classic. The Crescent Street Hustlers, the prolific and forward-thinking dance music production gurus, produced a brilliant remake of the classic track and present their labors here with 5 exclusive mixes including bonus instrumental versions and special "elements" mix that cuts to the very heart of the tune.
