Claude "Curley" Putnam Jr.. wrote some of the finest songs that ever came out of Nashville and had an amazing string of hits including "I Stopped Loving Her Today" for George Jones, "D-I-V-O-R-C-E" for Tammy Wynette, "My Elusive Dreams" for Glen Campbell, and "Green Green Grass of Home" for Tom Jones.
