Fall of 2003 Avery and Willie-6th graders at the time-joined up to play the Aeorsmith anthem "Dream On" for our middle school talent show. Marsh Mahon-an 8th grader-agreed to play bass with us. Lucky for us, we had a place to record our original songs-Charlottesville's fabulous Music Resource Center (MRC). We started getting gigs! Mahon saw the band's potential and signed on for real. We won first place ($1000) in the ACAC battle of the bands. We used the money to get our CD out there. (It's called "Dreamers") C-ville wrote a cover story about us.
