''Terence Trent D'Arby's Symphony or Damn* (*Exploring the Tension Inside the Sweetness)'' is Terence Trent D'Arby's third album, released in 1993 on Columbia Records. This album marked something of a comeback for D'Arby after the disappointment of its predecessor "Neither Fish Nor Flesh", and was generally well received by many critics. There are many who believe this to be D'Arby's finest album, with Q Magazine rating it 5 stars upon its release. Some critics have even measured this to the 1987 magnum opus, ''Sign 'O' The Times'' by Prince.
The album peaked at #4 on the UK album charts and was boosted by 4 Top 20 UK singles, "Do You Love Me Like You Say?", "Delicate", featuring Des'ree (both tracks peaked at #14 in the UK charts), "She Kissed Me" (#16 on UK Charts) and "Let Her Down Easy" (#18 on UK Charts). "Let Her Down Easy" was and still remains a regular popular number at D'Arby's live shows.
Two more tracks were released but not as successful as the afore mentioned tracks. "Turn The Page" failed to chart while "Neon Messiah" was released as an EP in Japan only. This included a number of B-sides and is a widely sought after collectors item. - Wikipedia
